Technician Trainee (UAE National)

Develop hands-on technical skills by assisting engineers and technicians with aircraft maintenance activities under supervision. The trainee may gain exposure to avionics, airframe and engine tasks, inspections, repairs, component replacement and maintenance records. The objective is to build safe working habits, technical understanding and familiarity with approved maintenance procedures while completing an agreed training programme and progressing in line with competency requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support line or base maintenance engineers and workshop teams with assigned tasks under appropriate supervision.
• Assist with routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance activities during scheduled maintenance inputs.
• Follow manufacturer instructions, safety precautions, tool-control practices and company maintenance procedures at all times.
• Complete assigned records carefully and ensure work is documented to the required standard.
• Attend training sessions and practical assessments agreed with the line manager or maintenance training team.
• Report technical problems, delays or safety concerns promptly to the supervising engineer or shift manager.
