Team Leader – Trade Finance Operations (UAE National only)

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is recruiting a Team Leader for Trade Finance Operations in Al Ain, with the vacancy restricted to UAE nationals. The role leads operational processing for trade-finance services and supports accurate, timely handling of customer instructions and trade documentation. It combines operational oversight and people coordination with careful attention to controls, cut-off times and the requirements of international trade transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily trade-finance processing and allocate work to support accurate handling of instructions and service deadlines.
• Oversee documentation and processing for applicable trade instruments, including letters of credit, guarantees and collections.
• Review transaction details and supporting documents for completeness, discrepancies and adherence to procedure.
• Support appropriate screening, escalation and control steps for sanctions, financial crime and operational risk.
• Monitor team workloads, quality indicators and service performance, providing coaching and resolving processing issues.
• Liaise with relationship teams and other operations units to clarify requests and maintain clear customer communication.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bring relevant experience in trade finance operations, corporate banking operations or documentary trade processing.
• Demonstrate strong document checking, risk awareness, team coordination and deadline management.

• Relevant education, technical training or equivalent practical experience in the field is beneficial; any mandatory credential should be confirmed before applying.
