Supervisor – Production

The Supervisor - Production oversees day-to-day production activity in a continuous coating line environment. The role focuses on meeting daily output targets while keeping coating, oven, inspection, and finishing processes under control. The supervisor monitors product quality, including shade, dry film thickness, and adhesion, and works to reduce downtime, scrap, and rework. Effective coordination with operators and quality teams is essential to maintain safe, predictable, and consistent production.

Key Responsibilities

• Organise operators and production activity to achieve daily output targets while following the approved process and production plan.
• Monitor coating application, oven performance, inspection points, and other critical parameters across the CCL process.
• Check quality indicators such as shade, dry film thickness, adhesion, and surface finish and arrange corrective action when needed.
• Track downtime, rejected material, scrap, rework, and process interruptions and help identify causes and improvements.
• Enforce PPE, safe work procedures, housekeeping, and required operating controls on the production floor.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records and share updates with the management and support teams.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in a relevant continuous coating line or closely related industrial production role.
• Working understanding of production-process control and quality or safety checks.
• Ability to supervise a team, organise tasks, and respond to changing production priorities.
• Basic reporting skills and the ability to identify and communicate process issues clearly.
