Service Agent

Paramount Hotel Dubai is looking for a professional Service Agent to deliver attentive food and beverage service and maintain outlet readiness. The role supports restaurant and lounge operations by helping guests, coordinating with kitchen colleagues and keeping service areas organised. A positive, efficient approach and a sound understanding of hotel service standards are important to the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide courteous food and beverage service and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Prepare restaurant or lounge areas for service, maintaining setups in line with hotel standards.
• Handle trays, trolleys, china, glassware and other service equipment carefully and safely.
• Understand menu items, ingredients and service procedures well enough to answer questions and provide useful recommendations.
• Communicate with kitchen and service teams to support accurate orders and timely delivery.
• Handle guest feedback or complaints professionally and bring complex concerns to a supervisor.
• Support opening and closing duties, basic stock checks and inventory control.
• Keep work areas clean, orderly and ready for guests, following hygiene and safety procedures.
• Recommend suitable food and beverage items when appropriate and assist other hotel areas when required.

Requirements and Qualifications

• At least two years of food and beverage experience in a five-star hotel; experience with a poolside bar or lounge is preferred.
• A hotel-school degree, diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working with colleagues and guests from different cultural backgrounds.
• HACCP knowledge and WSET Level 1 or an equivalent beverage qualification are an advantage.
