Senior Merchandiser – Sports

The Senior Merchandiser supports the Sports division by translating category strategy and financial targets into commercially effective merchandise plans. The role owns complex assortments, inventory productivity, and performance analysis, ensuring the right products, quantities, and sizes are available across channels and store groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate category targets into seasonal merchandise plans covering ranges, option counts, depth, and investment by channel and store cluster.
• Build assortment frameworks and provide buying teams with clear quantitative and qualitative product briefs.
• Lead pre-season, mid-season, and post-season reviews and apply lessons to future plans.
• Monitor sales, margin, sell-through, weeks of stock cover, stock turn, and markdown performance.

• Define inventory targets for merchandisers and allocators and track adherence.
