Description
The Senior Manager – Investor Relations develops investor communications and supports engagement with investors, analysts and rating agencies. The role prepares quarterly results materials, monitors market and competitor developments and maintains investor data and consensus information. It helps ensure that financial communications are accurate, current and useful, while supporting a consistent dialogue with the investment community and senior internal stakeholders. The role works with senior internal leaders as well as external market participants. It requires sound judgement when preparing market-facing information, an organised approach to investor records and the ability to manage competing reporting deadlines without losing accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly results presentations and support press releases, speaking scripts, question-and-answer materials and other investor communications.
- Produce management reports covering analyst research, market news, share-price performance and competitor results.
- Maintain analyst consensus information, broker research records and investor-meeting databases.
- Review draft analyst research and financial models for relevant accuracy and consistency.
- Coordinate engagement with buy-side and sell-side analysts, investors and rating agencies.
- Support information requests, investor meetings and annual rating-agency reviews.
- Maintain and improve the Investor Relations website, presentations and press-release content.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics is required.
- A professional accounting qualification is required.
- At least five years of experience in banking or financial services is required, preferably in finance or research.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong financial literacy and analytical capability.
- Intermediate knowledge of Bloomberg and financial-analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
