Regional Head – Al Ain Center (UAE Nationals Only)

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is seeking a Regional Head to lead the Al Ain Center and oversee regional operations, service performance and people development. The role carries broad responsibility for branches and support units, operational controls, customer experience, risk management and regional performance. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and multiple banking functions to strengthen service quality, operational efficiency and sustainable growth across the Al Ain region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop UAE National employees through coaching, direction, capability building and structured support.
• Oversee operational activities across Al Ain branches and support units and coordinate regional growth initiatives.
• Manage RM-related support for Corporate and Investment Banking clients and oversee relevant operational hubs.
• Develop regional strategies, monitor performance indicators and implement corrective action where required.
• Ensure branch operations comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, SOPs, capacity plans and end-of-day controls.
• Improve turnaround times and maintain service-level compliance across regional processes.
• Drive audit readiness, resolve compliance findings and reduce operational losses, fraud, incidents, cash differences and exceptions.
• Represent the region in senior-management forums, community initiatives and strategic transformation programmes.
• Approve staffing plans, shift schedules, training calendars and authorised operational expenditure within delegated limits.

Requirements

• UAE Nationals only.
• At least 9 years of relevant experience in people management and leadership, preferably in financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Strong banking systems knowledge, people leadership, stakeholder engagement and regulatory awareness.
• Experience with project management, scheduling, budgeting, administration and operational controls.
