Parts Picker

The Parts Picker supports warehouse and parts operations by locating the correct components, picking quantities against requests, and preparing orders for dispatch or internal delivery. The role requires accuracy with part numbers and locations, safe handling of materials, and good organisation of stock. By packing and staging orders correctly, the picker helps technicians and customers receive parts efficiently while supporting inventory accuracy and a clean, safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick required parts from the correct stock locations using order lists, part numbers, quantities, and warehouse procedures.
• Check picked items for description, quantity, condition, and order accuracy before passing them to the next stage.
• Pack, label, and stage components in designated dispatch or delivery areas to prevent damage and mix-ups.
• Return stock to assigned locations and follow safe storage practices for items of different sizes and weights.
• Assist with cycle counts, report stock discrepancies or low inventory, and support accurate warehouse records.
• Use forklifts, pallet jacks, or order-picking equipment only when authorised and trained, and maintain housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• Ability to read item labels, part numbers, picking lists, and basic stock information accurately.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to follow standard warehouse processes.
• Physical ability to handle parts safely and stand or move around the warehouse for extended periods.
• Prior warehouse, automotive parts, or inventory experience is helpful, along with relevant equipment authorisation where applicable.

Qualifications and Skills

• Accuracy, organisation, and dependable order completion.
• Understanding of safe manual handling and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to work cooperatively with inventory, parts-counter, and dispatch colleagues.
• Basic computer or scanning-device skills and a willingness to report stock issues promptly.

Employment Details

This full-time role is based in Dubai in a parts or warehouse environment. Daily work depends on order volume and service demand. The successful candidate should be consistent, safety-conscious, and focused on getting the right part to the right place without unnecessary delays.
