Officer – Treasury Back Office

Job Overview

Support Treasury Operations by processing post-trade activities, securities settlements, reconciliations and lifecycle events across fixed income, equities, repo and related investment products.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and process treasury transactions initiated by Front Office teams.
• Handle bonds, Sukuk, Treasury Bills, UAE M-Bills, EMTNs and other fixed-income instruments.
• Process equity transactions and related settlement activities.
• Manage coupon payments, profit distributions, maturities, redemptions and corporate actions.
• Process Repo and Reverse Repo transactions, including collateral and maturity settlement activities.
• Coordinate settlement and confirmations with custodians, counterparties, brokers and clearing agents.
• Perform daily reconciliations across securities, custodian, Nostro, treasury-system and GL balances.
• Support treasury accounting, regulatory reporting, audit requests and period-end activities.
• Participate in UAT, automation and process-improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• For Officer: 5–8 years of Treasury Operations, Treasury Back Office, Securities Operations or Capital Markets Operations experience.
• For Senior Officer: strong post-trade experience with fixed income, equities, repo and reverse repo.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics or related field.
• ACI/CISI or similar certification is advantageous.
