Officer – Cards Product (Emirati Talent)

The Cards Product Officer helps develop and manage the bank’s cards portfolio, supporting product strategy, new propositions, customer campaigns and improvements to systems and processes. The position coordinates with business, operations, technology, credit, legal, compliance and external partners to help grow card usage while maintaining appropriate governance and customer-service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the creation and execution of product plans for the cards portfolio and monitor progress against agreed objectives.
• Coordinate the launch of new card programs, propositions, processes and system changes.
• Maintain effective day-to-day relationships with partners and follow up on operational actions and service performance.
• Review process turnaround time, system performance and documentation to identify practical improvements.
• Help deliver marketing communications and promotional campaigns on schedule and monitor their effectiveness.
• Support initiatives aimed at increasing card spending, customer engagement and portfolio value.
• Coordinate resolution of customer issues involving process breakdowns or policy interpretation across internal teams.
• Work with sales, operations, credit, branches, IT, analytics, Sharia, legal, audit and collections teams.
• Ensure customer documents and communications obtain required legal, compliance and Sharia approvals, with records retained.

Requirements and Skills

• Around 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• Interest or experience in banking cards, product operations, payments or financial services.
• Strong analytical, coordination, communication and project-follow-up skills.
