Microbiologist

A quality-control microbiology position in Madinah responsible for testing raw materials, semi-finished and finished products and purified water, as well as environmental monitoring. The role supports reliable laboratory results, product release decisions, continuous improvement and compliance with Nestlé safety and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and document microbiological testing according to approved SOPs and protocols.
• Prepare standards, solutions, reagents, media and samples for analysis.
• Record observations accurately, review data and support inspection-lot release.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Participate in lean and continuous-improvement initiatives within the laboratory.
• Prepare reports and receiving checks against approved specifications.
• Report quality abnormalities and deviations and support immediate corrective action.
• Follow Nestlé SHE requirements and maintain safe laboratory practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or a related major.
• More than one year of experience in the same or similar position.
• Good mathematics and English skills.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications such as MS Office.
• Strong accuracy, organization and ability to work under pressure.
