Merchandiser

The Merchandiser helps ensure products and displays are presented clearly, correctly and consistently across assigned locations. The role monitors availability, replenishes stock, checks display condition and shares information about product movement or supply issues. Attention to detail and close coordination with operations colleagues support attractive presentation and help reduce avoidable stock gaps. The successful applicant should be organised, dependable and committed to following operating procedures while helping the team deliver reliable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Check assigned displays or product areas to ensure items are presented neatly and according to agreed standards.
• Monitor product availability and coordinate replenishment to reduce gaps and maintain readiness.
• Check labels, placement, packaging condition and product rotation where applicable.
• Record stock observations, supply issues and notable changes in product movement.
• Coordinate with warehouse, outlet or operations colleagues to resolve shortages and discrepancies.
• Keep merchandising areas orderly and ensure promotional or seasonal materials are placed correctly when supplied.
• Follow inventory, handling, safety and reporting procedures relevant to the assigned products.

Requirements

• Experience in merchandising, retail support, stock handling or a related operational role is relevant.
• Strong attention to presentation, accuracy and product availability.
• Ability to communicate effectively and coordinate routine replenishment or stock issues.
• Reliable organisation and willingness to work within operational schedules and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Secondary or higher education and relevant practical experience are suitable backgrounds for this type of role.
