Housekeeping Attendant – Sharjah

Job Overview

Help maintain clean, orderly and hygienic workplace areas in Sharjah by completing routine housekeeping duties to the required standard. The attendant supports a safe and comfortable environment for employees and visitors, uses cleaning products and equipment correctly, and reports maintenance or hygiene issues promptly. Reliability, attention to detail and consistent work practices are essential for this role.

The position works closely with operational colleagues and other departments to resolve issues, keep records complete and meet agreed deadlines. A practical approach, consistent procedures and attention to quality help maintain reliable day-to-day airline operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean assigned rooms, offices, washrooms and common areas according to the required schedule.
• Sweep, mop, dust and sanitise surfaces while following appropriate hygiene procedures.
• Replenish consumables and cleaning supplies and keep storage areas neat and organised.
• Collect and dispose of waste safely and maintain separation requirements where applicable.
• Use cleaning materials and equipment in line with instructions and safety precautions.
• Report damaged fixtures, supply shortages or hygiene concerns to the supervisor and complete assigned checklists.

Requirements

• Applicants should be reliable, organised and able to perform routine physical housekeeping work.
• The role requires careful use of cleaning products and respect for workplace safety procedures.
• Candidates should be comfortable working independently and responding to changing daily priorities.
• Previous housekeeping, cleaning or facilities-support experience is useful but should be checked against the employer’s criteria.
