The food-and-beverage service role supports a positive dining experience through attentive, accurate and timely service. Key Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables, replenish supplies and keep service stations clean and organised.
- Communicate allergies, special requests, delays or guest concerns promptly to the appropriate team member.
- Welcome guests, explain menu options within your knowledge and respond to routine questions politely.
- Record or confirm orders carefully and coordinate with colleagues to minimise mistakes and delays.
- Serve food and beverages safely, checking table or guest details before delivery where applicable.
- Prepare assigned beverages or service items according to approved recipes, measures and presentation standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Customer-service or food-and-beverage experience is beneficial; role-specific training may be provided.
- Neat presentation, clear communication and a helpful attitude toward guests and colleagues.
- Ability to follow hygiene, food-safety and responsible-service procedures applicable to the role.
- Comfort working on your feet and managing several requests during busy periods.
- Reliability, teamwork and willingness to learn menu details and service routines.
