F&B Supervisor

The F&B Supervisor supports consistent food and beverage service by coordinating people, outlet readiness and daily operating standards. The position helps the team deliver attentive guest service while ensuring presentation, cleanliness and safe working practices are maintained. The supervisor is expected to remain visible during service, resolve routine issues and keep the manager informed about performance and operational needs. The successful applicant should be organised, dependable and committed to following operating procedures while helping the team deliver reliable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare for service by checking outlet readiness, staffing, equipment and the availability of required supplies.
• Assign tasks and guide team members so service activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Monitor customer experience, food presentation and service consistency across the assigned area.
• Ensure teams follow hygiene, food safety, cleaning and company operating procedures.
• Review stock levels and report replenishment needs or discrepancies to avoid service interruptions.
• Handle routine guest feedback and coordinate appropriate service recovery with the team.
• Provide shift updates, support colleague development and identify opportunities to make service more efficient.

Requirements

• Relevant hospitality or food and beverage experience with some responsibility for coordinating colleagues.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to follow safety and quality procedures while maintaining service standards in a busy environment.
• Good organisation, initiative and a calm approach to customer or operational concerns.

Qualifications and Skills

• A hospitality-related qualification or practical service training can be beneficial.
• Applicants should demonstrate dependable service skills and readiness to support day-to-day team supervision.
