Consultant Pediatric Pulmonologist

American Hospital Dubai is seeking a Consultant Pediatric Pulmonologist to provide specialist diagnosis and management of respiratory conditions affecting children. The physician will work in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment and contribute specialist expertise to the assessment and treatment of pediatric respiratory disorders. The position requires relevant Western specialist certification and a commitment to high-quality, compassionate, family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess pediatric patients with respiratory symptoms and suspected or established pulmonary disorders.
• Develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment strategies based on clinical findings and accepted standards of care.
• Monitor treatment response and provide ongoing follow-up for children with respiratory conditions.
• Communicate clinical findings, treatment plans and follow-up requirements clearly to families and caregivers.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, therapists and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and comply with hospital clinical policies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary discussions, quality initiatives and professional education activities.
• Support a patient-centered service culture and contribute to the continued development of pediatric respiratory services.

Requirements

• UK CCT or American Board certification in the relevant specialty is mandatory.
• Relevant training in Pediatric Pulmonology.
• Specialist experience in diagnosis and management of pediatric respiratory disorders.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
