CME – Finance Specialist – Dubai

The Finance Specialist supports the accounting and finance operations of Canon Middle East. The role helps process supplier and customer transactions, validate employee expense claims, complete reconciliations, and provide accurate reporting. Working within company procedures and internal controls, the specialist contributes to timely payments, reliable financial information, and efficient coordination across finance and other regional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process supplier and customer invoices in accordance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Check employee expense claims and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal requirements.
• Assist with financial reconciliations, payment processing, transaction records, and investigation of discrepancies.
• Support period-end reporting, schedules, and preparation of finance information for internal review.
• Maintain organised documentation and assist with audit requests, compliance checks, and internal-control procedures.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, employees, and finance colleagues to resolve invoice or payment questions.
• Identify recurring administrative issues and contribute to improvements in finance workflows and record accuracy.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A relevant qualification or practical background in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• Understanding of invoice processing, reconciliations, expense claims, and basic financial controls.
• Good spreadsheet and office-software skills for transaction handling and reporting.
• Ability to work accurately with financial data and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong coordination skills and a reliable approach to deadlines and follow-up.
