Chef De Partie – Arabic – Marriott Al Forsan

The culinary position with Marriott International supports the preparation and delivery of high-quality food in a professional hotel kitchen. The role contributes to consistent food quality, presentation, timing, hygiene and guest satisfaction while working within established recipes, menus and food-safety procedures. Depending on the level, the position may focus on preparation and station support or include responsibility for supervising kitchen associates, coordinating production and maintaining operational standards. The successful candidate should be organized, safety-conscious and comfortable working under pressure during busy service periods. Teamwork is essential, as the kitchen works closely with service, stewarding and other food-and-beverage functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and dishes according to recipes, production plans and Marriott quality standards.
• Maintain correct food handling, storage, labeling, temperature control and sanitation practices.
• Set up and maintain assigned workstations, equipment and mise en place.
• Coordinate timing and production with chefs, colleagues and service teams.
• Monitor presentation, portioning, consistency and freshness before food leaves the kitchen.
• Maintain clean, safe and organized work areas throughout the shift.
• Control waste and use ingredients and equipment responsibly.
• Support training, teamwork and additional kitchen duties appropriate to the position level.

Requirements

• Professional culinary training or hospitality qualification appropriate to the position.
• Relevant kitchen experience; approximately 2 - 5 Years depending on seniority and specialty.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and safe equipment practices.
• Ability to work efficiently during high-volume service.
• Good communication, teamwork and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required by hotel operations.
