Beauty Therapist / Laser Therapist

American Hospital Dubai is looking for a Beauty Therapist / Laser Therapist to provide professional aesthetic treatments while maintaining high standards of hygiene, patient safety and customer service. The position combines skin assessment and beauty therapy with safe operation of laser equipment. The therapist will develop suitable treatment plans, maintain accurate records, support appointment workflows and follow DHA requirements and laser-safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct skin screening and assessment to understand client needs, expectations and treatment suitability.
• Review relevant skin conditions and medical history before recommending procedures.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and explain procedures, precautions and aftercare.
• Provide aesthetic services such as facials, chemical peels and microdermabrasion using appropriate techniques.
• Operate laser equipment according to approved procedures, certification, competency and safety requirements.
• Perform laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation and other permitted laser treatments in accordance with DHA protocols.
• Obtain informed consent, provide safety instructions and monitor client responses during treatment.
• Maintain clean treatment areas, accurate records, appointment schedules and inventory information.
• Report hazards, exposure incidents or accidents and attend required laser-safety training.

Requirements

• Diploma in Beauty Therapy or related field.
• Completion of an accredited laser technician program; additional aesthetic certifications preferred.
• DHA License and BLS Certificate.
• Minimum two years of experience in a luxury hospital or clinic setting.
• Knowledge of laser technologies, aesthetic treatments and JCIA standards.
• Fluent English; Arabic is preferred.
