Assistant Operations Manager – Transport

Transguard Group is recruiting an Assistant Operations Manager for Transport in Dubai. The position supports the daily coordination of transport services, helping ensure that schedules, people, vehicles and customer requirements are managed safely and efficiently. It requires strong operational organisation, responsive issue handling and consistent monitoring of service quality, resource use and compliance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day transport activity, including schedules, vehicle allocation and operational coverage for assigned services.
• Support driver and supervisor coordination so journeys, attendance and customer requirements are managed reliably.
• Monitor service performance, punctuality, resource utilisation and operating costs, escalating issues when needed.
• Work with maintenance and support teams to address vehicle availability, breakdowns and other disruptions.
• Maintain accurate operational records and contribute to performance reports, incident follow-up and improvement plans.
• Ensure teams follow safety procedures, customer commitments and applicable transport and company requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bring experience in transport operations, fleet coordination, logistics or a related service-delivery environment.
• Demonstrate planning, people coordination and the ability to respond practically to operational changes.
• Be comfortable reviewing performance information, maintaining records and reinforcing safety and service standards.
• Use sound judgement, keep records accurate and follow relevant policies, confidentiality expectations and internal controls.
• Relevant education, technical training or equivalent practical experience in the field is beneficial; any mandatory credential should be confirmed before applying.

• Transport Scheduling, Fleet Coordination, Driver Management, Service Delivery and related practical methods relevant to the position.
