Animator – StuDIYo Lab

Animator - StuDIYo Lab is an opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day work of Majid Al Futtaim in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Animator helps deliver engaging activities for visitors and participants in a themed learning or entertainment environment. The role brings programme content to life through expressive communication, safe activity facilitation and friendly interaction suited to the specific studio or lab setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate assigned activities, demonstrations, games or creative sessions in an engaging and age-appropriate manner.
• Explain instructions clearly, encourage participation and adapt communication to different visitor needs.
• Prepare materials and activity spaces before sessions and restore the area afterwards.
• Follow safety, supervision, hygiene and visitor-service procedures throughout each activity.
• Coordinate with colleagues to maintain schedules, manage group flow and provide a welcoming experience.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience in animation, visitor engagement, education, workshops, events or customer-facing activities is useful.
• Confident verbal communication, positive energy and comfort speaking with groups.
• Patience, creativity and ability to follow structured activity guidelines.
• Reliability, teamwork and a consistent focus on safety and participant experience.

Skills and Competencies

Useful capabilities include group facilitation, storytelling, creativity, activity preparation, audience engagement, time management and teamwork.
