Description
Sharaf DG is hiring an Inventory Executive in Muscat to manage daily store inventory activities, including receiving, counting, recording, reconciliation, GRN processing and stockroom controls. This full-time opportunity is based in Muscat, Oman and forms part of Sharaf DG’s retail, commercial or support operations. The successful candidate will be expected to combine attention to detail, reliable execution and professional communication with a practical understanding of the responsibilities associated with the position. The role requires the ability to follow established procedures while responding appropriately to changing customer, store or business requirements.
The position involves regular coordination with colleagues and other departments, so clear communication and dependable follow-through are important. Candidates should be comfortable working in a structured environment, maintaining accurate information and completing assigned tasks within agreed timelines. Depending on the function, the role may involve customer interaction, sales activity, store operations, inventory control, project coordination, marketing execution or human-resources support. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, count, verify and store incoming merchandise while checking quantities and condition against relevant documentation.
- Prepare and process Goods Received Notes against LPOs, invoices and received quantities and report discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP or POS systems and ensure inventory information remains current and reliable.
- Conduct regular stock counts, verification and reconciliation and support perpetual inventory, stocktaking and related inventory-control activities.
- Prepare required PRET, LTI and other inventory documents and maintain records for store and merchandising requirements.
- Monitor stockroom organization and proper handling of merchandise so products remain suitable for sale and discrepancies or anomalies are identified.
- Support purchase returns, display-item controls, inventory logs and coordination with merchandising and store-management teams.
