Main Purpose of the Role

Deliver patient-focused, evidence-based primary healthcare in accordance with ethical standards and regulatory guidelines established by the UAE healthcare authorities and the organization.

Key Responsibility Areas

Clinical Service Delivery
  • Provide comprehensive, professional, and ethical medical services to patients with efficiency and compassion
  • Maintain a high standard of care across consultations, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-ups
Clinical Risk & Safety Management
  • Identify and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care
  • Adhere to patient safety protocols and incident reporting standards
Governance & Quality Compliance
  • Ensure strict compliance with clinical governance frameworks and quality management policies
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date medical records in accordance with institutional guidelines
Professional Integrity & Development
  • Uphold ethical standards and professional conduct in clinical practice
  • Engage in continuous professional development, including supporting the learning of junior colleagues and students

Education Requirements

  • Essential: Basic Medical Degree recognized by the UAE healthcare authority
  • Additional Qualification: Diploma or training in a specialty recognized by the UAE regulatory authority
  • Certification: Active and valid life support certification (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP)
  • Desired: Specialty-specific certification

Experience Requirements

  • Essential: 2–3 years of experience within the relevant specialty, ideally in a private hospital setting
  • Desired: Experience in a Tier 1 country as defined by the UAE healthcare regulatory body

Skills and Knowledge Requirements

  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
  • Ability to facilitate clinical clerkship and support the development of junior staff
  • Solid understanding of clinical audit standards and healthcare quality processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous
  • Collaborative, patient-oriented approach with effective interpersonal abilities
