Main Purpose of the Role

To deliver patient-centric, evidence-based consultant-level care while upholding ethical, clinical, and regulatory standards set by the company and relevant UAE healthcare authorities.

Key Responsibility Areas

Clinical Excellence
  • Provide comprehensive and high-quality clinical care to patients in a timely and effective manner
  • Maintain integrity and professionalism in all patient interactions and medical decisions
Risk Management
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate clinical risks associated with direct patient care
  • Adhere strictly to patient safety protocols and clinical risk policies
Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with clinical governance frameworks, internal quality standards, and UAE healthcare legislation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in line with regulatory requirements
Professional Development
  • Continuously pursue professional growth through active learning, medical research, and participation in training initiatives
  • Mentor junior doctors, medical students, and contribute to institutional knowledge-sharing

Education Requirements

  • Essential: Basic medical degree and completion of a recognized higher education program (fellowship/diploma) by the UAE healthcare authority
  • Certification: Registered in a recognized specialty with the relevant UAE healthcare regulator
  • Life Support: Active and valid certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, or NRP
  • Desired: Specialty-specific advanced certifications

Experience Requirements

  • Essential: 3–5 years of post-qualification experience at Consultant level
  • Desired: Minimum 1 year of Consultant-level practice in a Tier 1 country, as defined by the UAE healthcare regulator

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to facilitate clinical clerkship and mentorship for junior staff and medical students
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
  • Strong understanding of clinical audit standards and processes
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal); Arabic language skills are an advantage
