Advanced Paramedic

Main Purpose of the Role

To deliver patient-centered emergency medical treatment and transportation services in accordance with the standards set by relevant regulatory authorities and company policy. The role ensures clinical excellence, operational readiness, and adherence to safety and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibility Areas

Emergency Medical Services

• Provide prompt and comprehensive emergency medical care and transport to patients, ensuring compliance with applicable UAE regulatory guidelines
• Respond to emergency calls and provide appropriate life support interventions based on clinical protocols

Operational Readiness

• Ensure all life support equipment, supplies, and medical kits are operational, maintained, and compliant with safety regulations and company procedures
• Conduct daily vehicle and equipment checks to maintain readiness

Professional Development

• Maintain knowledge and skills through ongoing professional education and participation in training programs
• Adhere to standards of continuous improvement to ensure high-quality patient care delivery

Administrative Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee billing, payment collection, and cash handling tasks in line with company financial policies
• Submit accurate and timely documentation to support operational reporting and financial reconciliation

Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure accurate and comprehensive recordkeeping of patient encounters, treatments, and transportation activities
• Comply with legal requirements and internal risk management procedures to mitigate liability

Education Requirements

• A three-year Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Medical Services (EMT-P) from an accredited institution
• Intermediate Life Support (ILS) certification (EMT-I) recognized by a relevant regulatory authority

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in an Emergency Medical Services environment
• Desired: Prior work experience in the UAE with DCAS or an authorized healthcare provider

Skills and Knowledge Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Understanding of client service delivery and operational management principles
• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office applications
• Familiarity with medical documentation systems and compliance protocols
