Reservation Agent – French speaker

The Reservation Agent manages guest enquiries and accommodation bookings while helping convert interest into confirmed reservations. The role requires accurate handling of dates, room or package information, guest preferences and special requests. Professional communication, product knowledge and a confident approach to recommendations help create a smooth booking experience and support hotel revenue. French-language communication is required for this reservations role.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to telephone, email and other booking enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Explain room types, rates, packages, policies and relevant hotel facilities accurately.
• Create, amend and confirm reservations while checking guest details and special requests.
• Use property and central reservation systems to maintain accurate booking information.
• Recommend suitable options and communicate upgrades or additional services where appropriate.
• Coordinate with front office, reservations and other departments to support a seamless arrival.

Requirements and Qualifications

• French-language communication is required; experience with PMS/CRS systems, reservations, upselling and guest communication is valuable.
• PMS and CRS knowledge and Microsoft Office skills are useful.
• The language ability named in the role title is required or preferred as stated.
• Strong sales, organisation and accuracy are important.
