Site Quality Assurance Manager

The site quality assurance manager leads quality controls at a manufacturing site, ensuring that products, processes and records meet internal standards and applicable food-safety requirements. The role coordinates audits, investigations and improvement plans with production, laboratory, engineering and supply-chain teams. This position is part of site quality assurance and food safety and contributes to reliable, professional day-to-day delivery. The successful candidate will follow established procedures, maintain accurate information and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve agreed standards.

Key Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include the following:

• Maintain site quality plans, inspection routines, product specifications and documented procedures.
• Lead internal and external audit preparation, findings review and corrective-action tracking.
• Investigate product or process non-conformities and coordinate root-cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Monitor hygiene, sanitation, traceability, sampling and release controls relevant to the operation.
• Coach site teams on quality responsibilities and report risks, trends and performance to management.

A practical understanding of the function, sound prioritisation and timely escalation will help protect quality, safety, cost and customer commitments.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance within food manufacturing or a comparable regulated production environment is relevant.
• A degree in food science, food technology, microbiology or a related discipline is preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP, quality systems, auditing and corrective-action methods is important.
• Candidates should be confident coordinating cross-functional actions and maintaining complete documentation.
