P&O Maritime Logistics – Corporate Fleet Technical Superintendent

Job Overview

DP World is hiring a Corporate Fleet Technical Superintendent in Dubai to support the repair, maintenance and general technical upkeep of the P&O Maritime Logistics fleet. The role covers fleet-wide technical activities, docking, surveys, upgrades, breakdowns, major incidents and technical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage fleet technical activities including dockings, surveys, modifications, upgrades and major repairs.
• Provide technical support for breakdowns, incidents and vessel projects.
• Coordinate technical procurement, spare parts and supplier activities.
• Support insurance and P&I claim matters where required.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications for jobs, projects and dockings.
• Monitor work quality, budgets, schedules and completion of technical projects.
• Travel to vessels or project sites when operationally required.

Requirements

• Marine engineering or relevant technical qualification.
• Experience in ship technical management or fleet maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance, docking and repair activities.
• Good commercial, procurement and project-management awareness.
