Recreation Supervisor & Fitness Instructor – Marriott Al Forsan

This Marriott International position supports high-quality hotel operations by combining strong service delivery, operational discipline and effective coordination with colleagues and guests. The role is responsible for maintaining department standards, achieving operational objectives and contributing to a consistent guest experience. The successful candidate will organize daily activities, monitor performance, resolve issues, communicate priorities and work closely with other hotel departments. For leadership positions, the role also includes coaching colleagues, supporting staffing and development, managing resources and contributing to financial or departmental targets. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural hospitality environment and applying Marriott policies, procedures and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily departmental activities and ensure operations follow approved standards and procedures.
• Monitor service delivery, productivity, quality and guest satisfaction and address gaps promptly.
• Lead, coach or support team members and communicate expectations clearly.
• Handle guest requests, complaints and operational issues using appropriate escalation and service-recovery procedures.
• Coordinate with relevant hotel departments to maintain smooth workflows and timely handovers.
• Maintain accurate reports, records, schedules, operational controls and required documentation.
• Follow safety, security, confidentiality, brand and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement, training, staffing and financial objectives relevant to the department.

Requirements

• Relevant fitness, recreation, sports or hospitality qualification.
• Experience in recreation, fitness or leisure operations, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Relevant fitness instruction or safety certification where applicable.
• Strong guest-service, coaching, communication and team-leadership skills.
• Ability to maintain safe and engaging recreation activities.
• Professional presentation and flexible shift availability.
