Product Owner

Job Purpose

As a Product Owner, you will drive the vision, strategy, and delivery of key banking products across multiple channels. You will act as the voice of the customer and business, defining value-driven backlogs, ensuring timely delivery, and working closely with squads, stakeholders, and leadership to maximize ROI and business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and prioritize clear, validated business requirements aligned with strategic goals.
• Establish a repeatable intake process for business needs and stakeholder requests.
• Support Product Owner Managers in managing product scope, budget, and time-to-market.
• Translate business needs into detailed, value-driven Epics, Features, and User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria.
• Maintain a visible, transparent, and prioritized Product Backlog across T+2 sprints, with dependency mapping.
• Serve as the primary liaison between technical squads and business stakeholders.
• Define Minimum Viable Product (MVP) scope to enable early value delivery.
• Evaluate sprint velocity and team performance to optimize delivery.
• Facilitate cross-functional buy-in and manage expectations across all stakeholders.
• Ensure effective communication of product vision and delivery roadmap to all levels of the organization.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience as a Product Owner in financial services or banking.
• Deep understanding of banking products and customer journeys, with proven experience in:
  • Credit Cards
  • Personal Loans
  • Home Loans
  • Auto Finance
  • Complaints Handling
  • Call Centre Operations
  • Collections and Financial Remediation
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation initiatives.
