Key Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate housekeeping duties according to area priorities, staffing levels and operational schedules.
• Inspect assigned areas to confirm cleanliness, readiness and compliance with relevant housekeeping standards.
• Guide staff on cleaning methods, equipment use and safe handling of cleaning materials.
• Monitor the supply of cleaning products and housekeeping equipment and request replenishment when needed.
• Record issues, report maintenance requirements and follow up on areas that need corrective action.
• Promote safe working practices, correct storage and appropriate use of protective equipment.
• Coach team members, monitor attendance and productivity and communicate staffing needs to the responsible manager.

Requirements

• Experience in housekeeping, cleaning operations or a related hospitality service environment.
• Ability to supervise staff, organise schedules and complete regular quality inspections.
• Attention to detail and sound awareness of hygiene, workplace safety and cleaning standards.
• Good communication skills and a practical approach to resolving day-to-day issues.
