Description
The Senior Technician - Maintenance performs and coordinates technical maintenance to keep assigned equipment and facilities in reliable working condition. Work may include inspections, fault diagnosis, preventive tasks, repairs and support to less-experienced technicians. Good planning and accurate work records help reduce failures and repeat visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect assigned equipment and follow the preventive-maintenance schedule.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs within the assigned technical discipline and authorization.
- Use tools and materials correctly and verify equipment operation after work is completed.
- Record work orders, parts used, findings and any follow-up maintenance required.
- Support junior technicians and reinforce safe working practices and site procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates should have practical maintenance experience relevant to the equipment or trade. Technical training, fault-finding ability and safe work habits are important. Senior roles may require coordinating tasks or helping other technicians.
Skills and Competencies
- Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

Work Approach
