Produced Water Treatment Technology Specialist (IGF, NSF & Hydrocyclone)

NOV is seeking a Produced Water Treatment Technology Specialist in Dubai to provide specialist technical expertise for projects, tenders and technology-development activities involving produced-water treatment solutions. The role focuses on technologies such as induced gas flotation, hydrocyclones and related treatment systems. The specialist will support regional project and business-development teams by developing fit-for-purpose technical solutions, reviewing requirements and helping ensure proposals are technically sound and commercially competitive.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist technical knowledge for assigned produced-water treatment technologies on regional projects and tenders.
• Support technology-development activities according to agreed priorities and product-line objectives.
• Work with the APT Manager to develop products and solutions suited to local and international market requirements.
• Support Business Development teams during customer meetings and technical discussions.
• Work with tender teams to prepare competitive technical and commercial offers while managing technical and liability risks.
• Review customer requirements and recommend fit-for-purpose treatment configurations.
• Prepare or support technical documentation, calculations, specifications and proposal content.
• Develop training material and technical guidance for regional engineers.
• Share technical knowledge and market feedback to support product-line improvement.
• Collaborate with project, engineering and commercial stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Engineering background with relevant experience in produced-water or oilfield treatment technologies.
• Strong knowledge of IGF, hydrocyclones, NSF or related produced-water treatment systems is advantageous.
• Experience supporting oil and gas projects, tenders or technology development.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to customers and internal teams.
• Strong analytical, proposal-writing and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Willingness to support regional customer and project activities.
