Description
Coordinate mechanical maintenance in field production areas to preserve safe, efficient and reliable operation. The role covers a range of rotating and static equipment, supporting equipment availability, maintenance planning, troubleshooting and technical record keeping in oil and gas facilities.
The role requires collaboration across relevant teams, accurate documentation and early escalation of risks that may affect safety, quality or delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, inspect and coordinate maintenance for pumps, compressors, turbines, vessels, generators and related piping.
- Allocate work, schedule workloads and set priorities for employees and contractors.
- Provide technical assistance when equipment faults affect reliability, production or safe operation.
- Maintain equipment records, drawings, movable-asset lists and updated SAP records in line with ISO practices.
- Coach team members, review performance and support effective maintenance planning and execution.
Requirements and Experience
- At least ten years of experience maintaining equipment in oil and gas or petrochemical operations is required, including a minimum of three years in a similar supervisory capacity.
- Experience with a range of pumps, compressors, gas turbines, vessels and other plant equipment is important.
- Leadership, motivational and project-engineering skills are required.
