Manager Facilities Management (UAE National)

Job Overview

Khalifa University is hiring a UAE National Manager for Facilities Management to oversee facilities operations across its campuses. The role covers soft services, hard services, maintenance, utilities, suppliers, and service performance. It also contributes to departmental planning and budgets, manages contractors, and promotes safe, reliable, cost-effective facilities that support university activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage facilities operations, including soft services, utilities, maintenance, help desk support, and hard-service delivery.
• Contribute to departmental strategies, annual business plans, policies, procedures, and service-improvement priorities.
• Develop and monitor budgets, approve authorized purchases, and identify opportunities to reduce costs or improve efficiency.
• Select and evaluate suppliers and service providers in coordination with the relevant contracts team.
• Oversee corrective and general maintenance processes for HVAC systems, equipment, buildings, and related infrastructure.
• Monitor contractor attendance, service reports, certifications, performance indicators, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Coach team members, plan training, conduct performance reviews, and maintain safety and information-security standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Eight to ten years of professional experience is required.
• The position is intended for UAE Nationals.
• Candidates should have experience managing facilities services, contractors, budgets, maintenance, and operational performance.
• Leadership, supplier negotiation, service improvement, planning, and team-development skills are important.
