The Graduate Engineer – Wet Utilities is an entry-level opportunity for a UAE National interested in water and wastewater infrastructure. The role supports engineering teams working on water supply, drainage, sewerage and stormwater networks. It provides early-career exposure to design documentation, technical coordination, site activities and the processes used to deliver utility infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with review and preparation of wet-utilities drawings and technical documents.
- Support design coordination for water, wastewater, drainage and stormwater networks.
- Help check utility layouts, profiles, schedules and interface information.
- Attend site visits or inspections and record observations for senior engineers.
- Assist with technical submissions, reports and responses to project comments.
- Coordinate with civil, road, utility and other engineering disciplines as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Qualification requirement: UAE National; relevant engineering degree or graduate-level study.
- UAE National status is required for this vacancy.
- A relevant engineering degree or graduate-level study related to civil or wet-utilities engineering is suitable.
- An interest in water, drainage and wastewater infrastructure is important.
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and standard office software is useful.
- Good communication, organisation and willingness to learn are expected.
Skills and Competencies
The graduate should be attentive to detail and comfortable working with drawings, records and technical instructions. Teamwork, clear communication and a willingness to develop engineering skills are essential. Exposure to AutoCAD, utility layouts or infrastructure projects would be beneficial.
