Description
The Electrical / Telecom Engineer is an entry-level opportunity for a UAE National interested in electrical, telecommunications, ICT and electronic-security design. The role supports experienced engineers with drawings, schedules, design documentation, technical reviews and site activities. It offers exposure to building-services and digital infrastructure systems across multidisciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support designs for structured cabling, ICT infrastructure, wireless networks, IP telephony and related systems.
- Assist with CCTV, access control, intruder detection, intercom and security control-room design.
- Prepare drawings, schematics, equipment schedules, room data sheets and bills of quantities.
- Help develop design reports, technical specifications and design narratives.
- Coordinate space, power, cooling and containment requirements with architecture and MEP teams.
- Support reviews of contractor submittals, site visits, testing and commissioning activities.
Requirements and Qualifications
- UAE National status is required for this vacancy.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
- Have 0 to 2 years of experience; internships or project experience in building services, ICT or security are advantageous.
- Understand basic IP networking, structured cabling and electronic-security or AV systems.
- Have working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit and MS Office; BIM experience is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
Good written and verbal communication, attention to detail and willingness to learn are important. The role suits a graduate who can organise drawings and schedules, work with technical guidance and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams. A basic understanding of networking, cabling and security systems will be useful.
