Data Recovery Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Data Recovery Engineer to join our IT team. This role involves recovering critical data from a wide range of storage media and file systems, including HDDs, SSDs, USB drives, and memory cards. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of data recovery methods and tools, and the ability to resolve both logical and physical data loss under time-sensitive conditions.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced data recovery on various storage devices (e.g., HDD, SSD, USB, memory cards)
• Diagnose and resolve complex data loss scenarios, both logical and physical
• Utilize specialized software and tools for data imaging, extraction, and repair
• Adhere to clean room protocols for physical recovery procedures
• Document recovery processes, findings, and results in a clear and organized manner
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to ensure data protection and compliance
• Provide technical consultation and support to clients and internal teams regarding recovery strategies
• Stay up to date with developments in data recovery and digital forensics technology

🎓 Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
• 4–6 years of proven experience in professional data recovery
• Proficiency in industry-standard data recovery tools and technologies
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong documentation practices and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and perform under pressure
