Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• lead engineering support for maintenance activities, improve equipment reliability, coordinate technical problem solving, review maintenance strategies, monitor performance indicators and work with operations and maintenance teams to resolve recurring equipment issues.
• Review technical information, reports, drawings, specifications and operational data relevant to assigned responsibilities.
• Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, suppliers and specialist teams when technical support or corrective action is required.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation, inspection records, reports, procedures and performance information.
• Investigate technical problems, identify root causes and recommend practical corrective or preventive actions.
• Monitor compliance with approved engineering, quality, safety and operational requirements.
• Support audits, inspections, reviews, improvement projects and other activities related to operational reliability and risk reduction.
• Promote safe working practices and immediately escalate significant technical, safety or compliance concerns.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation or another relevant engineering discipline with substantial maintenance or reliability experience. Leadership capability, maintenance strategy knowledge, analytical skills and experience with industrial assets are expected.

• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical matters clearly.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant engineering, maintenance, quality or technical systems.
