Job Overview

This is a technical and engineering opportunity for a professional seeking to contribute to safe, reliable and efficient industrial operations. Key Responsibilities

• develop and support corrosion-management strategies, assess degradation mechanisms, review inspection findings, recommend mitigation measures, monitor corrosion risks and provide engineering guidance to maintenance and operations teams.
• Review technical information, reports, drawings, specifications and operational data relevant to assigned responsibilities.
• Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, suppliers and specialist teams when technical support or corrective action is required.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation, inspection records, reports, procedures and performance information.
• Investigate technical problems, identify root causes and recommend practical corrective or preventive actions.
• Monitor compliance with approved engineering, quality, safety and operational requirements.
• Support audits, inspections, reviews, improvement projects and other activities related to operational reliability and risk reduction.
• Promote safe working practices and immediately escalate significant technical, safety or compliance concerns.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in materials science, metallurgy, chemical engineering or a related engineering discipline with relevant corrosion-engineering experience. Knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, materials selection, inspection methods, integrity management and mitigation techniques is desirable.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant engineering, maintenance, quality or technical systems.
