Visual Merchandising Trainee – Emiratisation

The Visual Merchandising Trainee opportunity provides Emirati talent with hands-on exposure to how luxury products, brands and campaigns are presented in a premium retail environment. Working with the visual merchandising and store teams, the trainee helps maintain attractive displays and consistent brand presentation while learning how layout, product placement and seasonal storytelling influence the customer experience.

Job Overview

This position contributes to the customer, commercial or operational goals of Chalhoub Group. The successful candidate will carry out the responsibilities below while working with relevant colleagues and following established policies, standards and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up displays, campaign materials, product groupings and visual presentations according to brand guidelines.
• Help maintain fixtures, product placement, signage and display standards across the retail space.
• Support seasonal launches, promotional moments and in-store events by preparing the required visual materials.
• Observe customer movement and product engagement, sharing practical feedback with the team.
• Coordinate with store colleagues to keep displays tidy, accurate and replenished throughout trading hours.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Eligibility for the Emiratisation opportunity and a strong interest in retail, fashion, luxury brands or visual presentation.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to follow visual guidelines and instructions.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organisation skills.
• A proactive attitude, flexibility and willingness to learn in a hands-on store environment.
