Buying Trainee – Emiratisation

Job Overview

This position contributes to the customer, commercial or operational goals of Chalhoub Group. The successful candidate will carry out the responsibilities below while working with relevant colleagues and following established policies, standards and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining product, supplier and assortment information and checking that buying records are accurate.
• Help review sales data, stock levels and market or trend information to support buying decisions.
• Coordinate with buying, merchandising, finance, logistics and retail teams on day-to-day product matters.
• Support purchase order follow-up, product launches and collection-related administrative tasks.
• Prepare spreadsheets, reports and presentation materials for team reviews and commercial planning.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Eligibility for the Emiratisation opportunity and an interest in retail buying, fashion, beauty or merchandising.
• Good numerical skills, attention to detail and confidence working with spreadsheets.
• Strong organisation, communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive learning mindset and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
