Graduate Trainee

Job Overview

Khalifa University's HR department is offering a Graduate Trainee opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience in a university environment. The role provides exposure to HR administration, employee services, recruitment coordination, onboarding, training administration and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Employee Relations, including phone handling and visitor management.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas and logistics.
• Prepare documents, correspondence and basic reports and maintain accurate records.
• Manage office supplies and track requests.
• Support recruitment by posting vacancies, scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate logistics.
• Assist with onboarding, new-joiner files and document collection.
• Maintain employee files in line with HR policies and data-protection requirements.
• Generate simple reports and track HR service-desk requests.
• Support training administration, attendance tracking and certificate preparation.
• Assist with HR events, career fairs and employee-engagement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Graduated within the last two years.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 or equivalent as stated in the vacancy.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Strong Microsoft Office or Google Workspace skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset, attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Prior internship or volunteering in HR, higher education or the public sector is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, teamwork and willingness to learn.
