Associate Director– Al Ghurair Innovation Hub

Job Overview

Khalifa University is seeking an Associate Director for the Al Ghurair Innovation Hub to support the strategic direction and day-to-day coordination of initiatives between the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation and the University. The role translates agreed strategy into implementation plans, coordinates stakeholders and supports the Hub's development as a university-based innovation model.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, milestones and delivery activities.
• Coordinate stakeholders across Khalifa University, the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation and related partners.
• Monitor implementation, performance targets, risks and outcomes.
• Support the Hub's strategic development, operational effectiveness, sustainability and institutional integration.
• Prepare strategic reports, impact and learning outputs and decision-support materials.
• Support governance processes and Joint Steering Committee activities.
• Develop and oversee sustainability, resource-mobilization and partnership initiatives.
• Engage senior leadership and external education-sector stakeholders.
• Support innovation models, cross-institutional initiatives and organizational change.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in higher education innovation, institutional strategy or complex program leadership.
• Experience designing or scaling institutional innovation models in complex organizations.
• Experience supporting senior leadership, steering committees or governance forums.
• Experience with multi-year sustainability, resource mobilization, budget management or partnership development.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, project management, communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
• Track record of strategic reporting, institutional learning or thought leadership in education or innovation.
• Experience in UAE higher education, AI-enabled learning, data-driven performance systems or cross-institutional initiatives is desirable.
