Senior Product Owner – Omnichannel

The Senior Product Owner leads the in-store part of omnichannel fulfilment, connecting digital orders with the everyday experience of store colleagues and customers. The remit includes picking, packing, dispatch, collection, uncollected orders and returns. The role combines deep retail operations knowledge with hands-on product delivery, setting priorities and using data to improve service, productivity and the customer journey across multiple touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end in-store fulfilment workflows and collaborate with e-commerce product teams to provide a joined-up experience for store colleagues.
• Lead improvements to customer-facing collection journeys, reducing queue times and increasing satisfaction across omnichannel touchpoints.
• Identify process gaps, define solutions and move improvements into delivery quickly while maintaining clear accountability for outcomes.
• Maintain and prioritize the product roadmap and backlog, balancing customer impact, colleague experience, business value and technical dependencies.
• Work with salesfloor colleagues, business teams, engineering, QA, data specialists and architects; use Power BI, dashboards and raw data to validate improvements.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Have ten or more years of retail experience across store operations and central-office functions.
• Demonstrate delivery of technology-driven products from concept through launch, with measurable improvements in sales, productivity or customer experience.
• Communicate effectively with senior executives and diverse cross-functional teams, including stakeholders outside the direct reporting line.
• Be organized and delivery-focused, able to manage competing priorities and keep product teams accountable for results.
• Bring strong data literacy and an AI-forward mindset, with practical prototyping or workflow-automation experience beyond basic use of AI chat tools.

Skills

The role benefits from grounded knowledge of store processes, product lifecycle management, analytics, data governance, agile delivery and influencing without formal authority.
