Senior Buyer

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a Senior Buyer to support supporting the accuracy, availability and flow of products through Majid Al Futtaim’s retail and e-commerce operations. The position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is structured as a full-time opportunity. The role covers assortment strategy, supplier negotiations, OTB, margins, stock, sell-through and buying plans. The successful candidate should be dependable, organized and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders while maintaining high standards of accuracy, service, compliance and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory, product or commercial records and follow established operating procedures.
• Coordinate with stores, warehouses, suppliers, buying teams and other stakeholders to keep activities on schedule.
• Monitor stock, orders, availability, fulfilment, purchasing or commercial performance and escalate exceptions promptly.
• Use systems, reports and spreadsheets to identify discrepancies, improve execution and support informed decisions.
• Follow safety, quality, security, compliance and customer-service standards while completing daily responsibilities.
• Contribute to process improvements that reduce errors, delays, waste, stock loss and unnecessary operating costs.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or an equivalent qualification appropriate to the position.
• Typical relevant experience: 3 - 5 Years; candidates should review the employer's requirements for the exact role.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good Excel and computer skills
• Clear communication and stakeholder coordination
