Kaizen Operations Drilling Support (MWD/LWD, Directional Drilling)

NOV is seeking a Kaizen Operations Drilling Support professional in Abu Dhabi to support the successful deployment and adoption of its digital drilling application. This is a predominantly field-based role supporting customers and internal teams through rig- and office-based product support, training, drilling advisory and operational feedback. The position is suited to an experienced drilling professional who understands MWD/LWD, directional drilling or drilling engineering and can translate real-time drilling information into practical operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support deployment, trials and sustained adoption of Kaizen digital drilling products.
• Provide frontline support to customers and escalate technical issues through defined processes.
• Engage with customer drilling engineers before and during deployments and provide application guidance.
• Deliver product and operational training to internal teams and customers.
• Review real-time drilling data and identify operational concerns or opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with Sales, Product Line, Field Engineering, Operations and Digital Commercialization teams.
• Provide drilling advisory support and capture customer feedback to improve product adoption.
• Travel internationally as required for customer deployments and operational support.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders and complete other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 4 years of experience in MWD/LWD, directional drilling, drilling engineering or a closely related field.
• Good understanding of drilling practices and real-time drilling data.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated in field environments.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
