Lead UX Designer

Lead the design of intuitive, accessible and visually coherent interfaces for airline-related software products. The position turns business and user needs into flows, models, prototypes and polished interface designs while keeping usability, functionality and navigation at the centre. Working with clients and developers, the lead designer improves existing products, supports new initiatives and raises design quality through constructive feedback, clear documentation and consistent methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Research requirements and develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs for complex applications.
• Iterate visual and interaction designs using feedback from end users, clients, product teams and developers.
• Work with technical colleagues to investigate usability issues and convert findings into practical improvements.
• Plan and organise design tasks, manage workload and provide guidance to junior designers.
• Present design concepts and software demonstrations to stakeholders, explaining trade-offs and expected user outcomes.
• Track assigned work, flag delivery risks and contribute to shared design standards, tools and methods.

Requirements

• Demonstrate a strong portfolio of user-focused interface and experience design work.
• Be comfortable working with software engineers, product owners, customers and geographically distributed project teams.
• Balance visual quality with usability, technical constraints, delivery deadlines and business requirements.
• Provide constructive guidance to colleagues and maintain clear progress updates.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional training or experience in UX, interaction design, interface design or a related discipline.
• Practical knowledge of prototyping, design-system practices and commonly used design tools is expected.
• Experience designing airline, travel or enterprise applications is an advantage.
