Description
ABB is inviting applications for a Sales Support Specialist position reserved for Emirati talent in Dubai. The role supports the sales organisation and customers during the proposal process, with a focus on technical product information, solution selection, cost preparation and final documentation. The position contributes to the Measurement and Analytics sales activities in the UAE and reports to the Sales Manager responsible for the assigned regional markets. It is suitable for a recent engineering graduate or a candidate with limited professional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to product, system and application enquiries from customers, sales channels and Sales Specialists.
- Provide technical guidance and help identify products or solutions that address customer requirements.
- Carry out analytical and diagnostic reviews of customer enquiries to determine suitable technical options.
- Prepare technical descriptions of products and technologies for use in customer proposals and sales documents.
- Support product selection, cost calculations and financial cost modelling as part of the proposal process.
- Help maintain sales opportunities, address customer issues and contribute to order, pricing and customer satisfaction targets.
- Assist the assigned sales team in meeting budget, volume and profitable growth objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
- UAE National candidate, in line with the Emiratisation requirement.
- Fresh graduate or 0 to 2 years of experience.
- Engineering education, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Strong interest in technical customer support, product applications and accurate documentation.
Skills and Employment Details
Applicants should be comfortable using product-selection and cost-modelling tools and have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Accuracy, analytical thinking, organisation and a customer-focused attitude are important. English and Arabic language skills are listed for the position.
