Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Relationship Manager – Retail Banking. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients, deepening existing relationships, and achieving revenue and portfolio growth targets while delivering excellent customer service and upholding regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue generation and achieve assigned sales and portfolio growth targets through the sale of banking products and services.
- Acquire new clients, submit accurate credit applications, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience to meet acquisition goals.
- Conduct effective cross-selling by identifying customer needs, promoting relevant bank products, and increasing product penetration and wallet share.
- Provide existing clients with tailored financial solutions and ensure continuous engagement to deepen relationships.
- Enroll clients onto digital channels and enhance customer usage and transaction volumes.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews, monitor client activity, and ensure compliance with onboarding and remediation requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of products/services and resolve client issues or complaints promptly to maintain long-term loyalty.
- Retain and grow the portfolio by identifying growth opportunities, increasing assets under management (AUM), and leveraging available tools.
- Maintain a high Net Promoter Score (NPS) by consistently delivering exceptional service.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and promptly address service failures to protect the bank’s reputation.
- Establish strong internal and external relationships based on trust and professionalism.
- Comply strictly with documentation, operational procedures, audit requirements, and internal policies.
- Source high-quality, profitable clients and avoid short-term practices that may impact portfolio performance.
- Uphold ethical standards and regulatory compliance in all customer interactions.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience managing client relationships in a banking or financial services environment.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven ability to sell banking products and negotiate effectively.
- Strong focus on customer service and achieving financial objectives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is desirable.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement.
